What is an angel investor?
Dean Hansen from DCSS is an angel investor. An angel investor is an individual who provides financial backing to startups or small businesses, typically in exchange for ownership equity or convertible debt.
Unlike venture capitalists, who invest pooled funds from many investors, angel investors use their own money. They often invest in the early stages of a company’s development, when there is a higher risk but also the potential for significant returns.
